My wonderful husband Alun passed away with great dignity at home, surrounded by his beloved family on the 18th September 2010. He bravely fought pulmonary fibrosis which cruely cut his life short, he was just 56 years of age. Throughout his illness he remained brave, always maintaining that there were people far worse off than himself. His sense of humour never diminished and he continued to make everyone laugh. We had been married for 34 years and had five wonderful children and six beautiful grandchildren, who all adored their wonderful Grum. Everyone who met Alun instantly warmed to him. He loved making everyone laugh with his silly songs, dittys and the games he used to play, I used to say I had six kids not five. There will never be another Alun, but unfortunately their will be many more diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. So please can you support our fund to help fight this terrible disease. Thankyou xx
